Bugfixes and Improvements Update


I’ve just updated the game with a bunch of minor improvements and bug fixes, the most significant of which is a fix to the broken combat AI. Combat is now somewhat deterministic, and guards are tougher, able to take down around 3 of your thieves before they can kill a guard. This should hopefully make the final level of this prototype make a lot more sense.

There are no new levels in this version, but I’m keen to work on some new ones for the next update.

Here’s a full list of changes:

  • Fixed broken combat AI
  • Made doors show in the non-visible camera views
  • Gave entry point nodes a text counter, to more easily see how much power they have
  • Fixed an issue with the wrong power being calculated along the chained nodes
  • Added optional dragging controls for connecting nodes (this needs more work!)
  • Added a few other visual and UI improvements
  • Cleaned up level geometry

I’m keeping the older Pirate Jam version of the game up for a while, as the jam is still running, but you can download version 0.2 and give it a try if you like. Feedback is welcome, as always!
